Mr. Adrian F Malagon submitted a motion on August 29, 2022 at 11:30AM, seconded by Ms. Meredith Hays, as follows:

I move that the LPCCC endorse Ms. Deborah Brandon for John Swett Unified School District Board.

Per LPCCC Bylaws Article VII, Section IV, voting closed at 11:30AM on August 31, 2022. The motion passed by a vote of 4-0-0-0 (Yes/No/Abstention/Not Voting).

The Executive Committee members voted as follows:

Yes: Adrian F Malagon, Alexandria Hatch, Meredith Hays, Roberto Nunez.

No: None.

Express Abstention: None.

Not Voting: None.

 

M2—Motion to Adopt Previous Meeting Minutes

Mr. Adrian F Malagon submitted a motion on November 22, 2022 at 9:00PM, seconded by Ms. Alexandria Hatch, as follows:

I move to approve the attached minutes of: the 02/10/2022 ExCom Meeting, the 02/28/2022 Business Meeting, the 08/15/2022 Business Meeting, and the 10/25/2022 Business Meeting.

Per LPCCC Bylaws Article VII, Section IV, voting closed at 9:00 pm on November 24, 2022. The motion passed by a vote of 4-0-0-0 (Yes/No/Abstention/Not Voting).

Editorial Notes:

1)      It is illustrative to learn that the LPCCC ExCom adopted the Minutes from the 2/28/2022 Business Meeting even though those minutes contain multiple mistakes.  Had the ExCom opened the meeting up to all of the CCC Members, those errors might have been corrected before the minutes were adopted.  This is yet another example of how incompetent the LPCCC ExCom is and why open meetings are preferable to closed meetings.
